Established in 1905 – 1908 the sanatorium has been built
as a "Heil- und Pflegeanstalt". In World War I the sanatorium has
been used as a backup facility. After WW I during the great
depression the sanatorium was closed and had no usage. After WW II
the Sowjet Army then used the buldings as a military hospital,
starting 1945. With the draw back of the Sowjet Army in 1993 the
buildings became again abandoned. Today the buildings are
protected under the conservation act.
The area is huge and can be considered a "Beelitz II".
Up to 20 buildings are hidden in the nature and are easy
accessible. The buildings are stripped and without relevant
interiour. Nevertheless attention is necessary since a small part
of the estate is used and so there is a somewhat neighbourhood
